Welcome to First United Methodist Church

Here you will discover a friendly warm group of real people dedicated to following our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We are family. We are men, women, children, plumbers, electricians, businessmen and women, students, teachers, motorcycle riders, athletes, artists, young and old, but most of all we are family.

Worship Times

Traditional Service 11:00 AM

Come as you are! Join us for worship at 11:00 each Sunday with Pastor Dayton. We usually share in Communion the first Sunday of the month Normally the last Sunday of the month, Pastor Dayton and Pastor Terri switch churches.

Arriving

Doors are open at 10:30. Parking is available on the streets or in the parking lot with handicap accessibiity off the alley. A Welcome Center is open for new visitors at the back of the sanctuary. Coffee is available in the Library Room off to the side of the sanctuary.

What to Wear

From T-Shirts and jeans to suits, we have it all. Be relaxed or dress up, we're just happy to see you.

Worship Style

We are blessed to have a talented organist/pianist and choir who fill our sanctuary with music. Most congregational singing is traditional hymns with the words displayed on a screen. The service is streamed "live" on Facebook and also posted on You-Tube later in the day .

Teaching Style

Each service and Sunday school class shares a Biblically-focused message. We love to learn. Sunday School is available for ages 3 years thru adults.
