LIBRARY NEWS

The First United Methodist Church Library is NEVER CLOSED! Please feel free to visit our library anytime you are in our church.

WHAT ARE THE LONG RANGE GOALS OF OUR CHURCH?

In the prophetic words of Joel, you find these words; “Than, after doing all those things, I will pour out my spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams, and your young men will see visions. In those days I will pour out my spirit even on servants—men and women alike” (Joel 2:28-29). Peter preached these words on Pentecost. I share these words because First Church is looking for a few good people who would like to serve on a visioning team. What are the deams and visions that God has for First Church? Let’s seek them together. The team will serve for a very short time—six to nine months—as we seek to ceate a vision and a strategy for the next four years of ministry. If you would like to serve, please speak to Pastor Wade.
