*Affirmation from Romans 8:35, 37-39

Leader: Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation or distress, or persecution or famine, or nakedness or peril or sword?

People: No! In all things we are more than conquerors through the One who loved us. We are sure that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Thanks be to God! Amen.

*Gloria Patri                                                                                      No. 70

People: Cast me not away from your presence, and take not your holy Spirit from me.

Leader: Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and sustain in me a willing spirit.

People: Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will return to you.

Leader: Deliver me from death, O God, God of my salvation, and my tongue will sing aloud of your deliverance.

People: O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth shall show forth your praise.

Dear Friends,

Thank you to everyone who helped in any way with the Charge Picnic and Worship Service. Whether you helped set up, clean up, brought a delicious dish to share, played corn hole, took a turn on the swings or sat enjoying the warmth of the sun during worship, your presence was greatly appreciated.

Our charge congregation was blessed with a beautiful day for worship and fellowship.  We look forward to the 2020 Charge Worship and Picnic!

                                                Thank you,

                                                Cindy Volek,

THANK YOU

Thank you to all who helped with the Folk Festival including those who came to eat. Total sales this year were $14,697 a few hundred dollars short of last year. After expenses, that leaves us $8495. This along with money kept to buy supplies for the festival from fish dinners lets us contribute $8500 to the General Church Fund and $1500 for Covenant Center Improvement. Another $987 was contributed from parking.

HE BREWS COFFEE HOUSE

The youth have set up a coffee house in the Library Room. They have coffee (from a Keurig) and some muffins. This is by donation. All donations go towards the youth group fundraiser. Please help yourself. Thank you
