*Call to Worship    John 3:11-17   Read Responsively

Leader: Very truly, I tell you, we speak of what we know and testify, to what we have seen; yet you do not receive our testimony.

People: If I have told you about earthly things and you do not believe, how can you believe if I tell you about heavenly things?

Leader: No one has ascended into heaven except the one who descended from heaven, the Son of Man.

People: And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, so that whoever believes in him may have eternal life.

Leader: For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.

People: Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

 *Gloria Patri                                                                                          No. 70

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Amen.

Saturday, March 28, 4:00 PM-Light of Life, Serving Dinner -- A team of 4-6 people is needed to help serve dinner to the Light of Life Rescue Mission on the Northside of Pittsburgh. The scheduled date is Saturday, March 28. We will leave at 4:00 PM and return in the early evening. This is a wonderful opportunity to serve dinner to homeless persons and to open your world and heart. Let Meaghan or Janet know of your interest.

Saturday, May 9, 7:00 PM  Talent Show  Our first Charge-wide Talent Show will be hosted by the Missions Team and held in FUMC's sanctuary.  Let's celebrate the real and perceived 😉 talents of our members!!  Interested participants must sign up with either Meghan or Janet.  Dress rehearsal will be May 8, early evening.  Put this on your calendar as it will be a wonderful evening!!  Practice your singing, acrobatics, or funny skits!  Proceeds of a free will offering will go to Rise Against Hunger.

Mark your calendars for VBS the week of June 22 from 9 to noon each day.

We hope the weather will be warm, but don't be surprised if you see a snowflake or two as we take an adventure into Cokesbury's Knights of the North Castle VBS.  We'll help our children to be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his power by exploring how we put on the armor of God.  Kids will take on the role of brave Knights, explore Old and New Testament stories, and discover how God's protective armor worked in the lives of familiar Bible characters -- and will work in their own lives as they follow and serve God.

We need YOU on the VBS team!  If you are able to help in any way, either before that week by cutting, coloring, making decorations, helping to decorate the sanctuary and other rooms, etc, or if you can help lead children during the week, please see Sue Hankey or call the church office.   We need many hands to have a successful VBS for the nearly 100 children from our community that we reach during that week.

Rainbow Road is thinking ahead to the new 2020 - 2021 school year. We are accepting applications for next fall.  If you have a 3 or 4 year old and would like an application, see Audrey or Linda Scaife (724-664-5347.) Our open house will be Monday, March 9th from 6:00-7:30 PM.

Our March missions will benefit Ramps of Hope as our 18+ person team works diligently to provide persons and families this great gift of accessibility. Give generously as you donate your money for the necessary screws and lag screws that ramps require. May God bless the families that receive these gifts of mobility and a better quality of life.                        Missions Committee

There is a simple, convenient way for you to get preventive health screenings and learn your risk for stroke, heart disease and other chronic conditions.

These painless screenings go beyond your regular checkup to identify dangerous plaque buildup or blockage, a major risk factor for stroke and heart disease. The screenings are accurate, affordable and will give you valuable information about your health that you can share with your doctor.

We are pleased to host Life Line Screening, who will be on site on March 31, 2020 in the Covenant Center to conduct these valuable screenings.

These 5 vital screenings are offered for only $149 and take 60-90 minutes to complete. If you register today, you will receive a $10 discount and the church also has coupons for another $55 off. So the tests will only cost $84 for all 5. I only have 9 of these coupons. If interested in a coupon, see Audrey.

Register by calling toll free 1-888-653-6441 or visit, or text the word “circle” to 797979.
