FINANCIAL UPDATES AVAILABLE

Church financial updates will be made available periodically via email.   If you desire to be informed about our church finances and have access to email, please let the church office know your email address and that you wished to be placed on the list.  Additionally, financial updates will be available as a hard copy in the office.  Please stop by and ask for your copy.

INFORMATIONAL MEETING

January 28th at Manorville at 7:00 PM:  Informational meeting about the plans being put forth from our Bishops' Commission on the Way Forward.  I urge us all to be in prayer and to be informed as to the decisions being made at the Special Session of the General Conference on February 23rd-26th.  Their decision will affect every local church and their direction for the future of our denomination.

JANUARY MISSIONS

Our church family will contribute money to purchase a water buffalo from Heifer International. This purchase will be tremendously helpful to a family in need. Water Buffaloes provide draft power for planting rice and potatoes, milk for protein and manure for fertilizer and fuel. Farmers can plant 4x more with a buffalo than by hand-generating added income to use for other necessities. May God bless you as you give to our missions in January.

LAY MINISTRY SCHOOL

Do you want to dig deeper into your faith and your opportunities for service? Consider attending Lay Servant Ministry School at Homer City UMC, February 24th through March 31st from 2:30-5:30 PM. Classes are open to all laity. For more information please see the pastor or go to http://indianadistrictlsm.org/homercity2019/.
