INDIANA DISTRICT PRAYER TRAINING EVENT

Our churches have identified prayer ministries as a top priority and we know it to be the foundation of everything we do in the church. In response, the Indiana District Evangelism Team is sponsiring a prayer training event. “Stake the Claim Prayer Walk” training comb ines instruction on community prayer walking and the basics of the spiritual discipline of fasting. Participants will also experience an actual prayer walk through the church and/or community. Workshop leaders, John and Christine Zimmerman of About Face Chruch Outreach Consultants, have identified prayer walking with fasting as a transformational breakthrough in local church outreach. Christine declares, “A commitment to prayer with fasting has to be the keystone to any outreach effort of a local church.”
